is seeking a qualified and experienced Financial Controller
The Government of Sindh, Finance Department, is seeking a qualified and experienced Financial Controller to join their team.
Important Note: This is a re-advertisement due to a previous error in the eligibility criteria.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all financial operations of the department.
- Implement and maintain a robust financial management system.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, financial regulations, and best practices.
- Prepare financial reports and statements.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to inform decision-making.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and financial institutions.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Public Policy, Economics, Finance, Management, Public Administration, HR Development, Law, Strategic and Security Studies, History, Political Science, International Relations, or a similar social science from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized university in Pakistan.
- OR
- 8 years of research, training, or teaching experience in a recognized institution.
OR
- For public servants or senior executives:
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- At least 3 years of teaching/training/research experience.
- At least 12 years of professional experience in a relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP financial systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
