A Karachi-based company Human Resource Solutions International (HRSI) is seeking a seasoned ESG professional to join their team! This is a middle management position where you’ll play a key role in developing, implementing, and managing the company’s ESG initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and implement a successful ESG strategy aligned with the company’s overall goals and best practices.
  • Design and monitor sustainability programs to reduce the company’s environmental footprint and achieve net-zero emissions.
  • Implement international safety protocols and environmental standards throughout the company.
  • Foster a corporate culture that prioritizes ESG principles and engages stakeholders, including the community.
  • Track and report on ESG performance, establishing a system for regular reporting to investors, customers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Identify new and innovative approaches to improve ESG program delivery and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with various teams to integrate ESG considerations into business processes, policies, and decision-making.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and community organizations to promote ESG initiatives.
  • Conduct ESG assessments, identify risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations to senior management.
  • Stay up-to-date on ESG regulations, frameworks, and reporting requirements to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Who You Are:

  • Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field (a bachelor’s degree may be considered for highly experienced candidates).
  • Minimum 6-8 years of professional experience, preferably in a large national or multinational organization.
  • At least 4-6 years of experience in a similar ESG role.
  • Proven experience in social and environmental governance, safety management, and ESG compliance certifications.
  • Experience with ESG reporting and familiarity with relevant reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and present data effectively.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and inspire change.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Age: Preferably not more than 40 years old.
