Job Overview

EXIM Bank has been established by the Government of Pakistan under the Export-Import Bank of Pakistan Act, 2022 as a Development Financial Institution (DFI) as per the Banking Companies Ordinance 1962. EXIM Bank is the official export credit agency of the country to support, develop, and promote international trade and Pakistan’s competitiveness in the international marketplace by providing trade financing, trade credit insurance, credit guarantees, equity participation, and related trade services to exporters and importers.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement the Continuous Audit Roadmap, Methodology, and Procedures.
Supervise designing of templates for data extraction from information systems.
Deploy data analytics procedures/tools.
Develop reporting and controlling dashboards for Continuous Audit using Power BI/MS Excel, etc.
Identify and escalate special issues to respective Groups related to internal controls, income leakage, policy implementation, and regulatory compliance.
Review observations/issues submitted by subordinates and escalate them to the respective Business Groups.
Develop and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders and discuss Management Action Plans.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification:
- Master’s or a higher degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, or other relevant fields from an HEC-recognized local/foreign university/institution.
- At least 20 years of banking/finance experience, with five years in senior leadership roles in financial institutions.
- Experience in trade finance or working at an Export Credit Agency (ECA)/EXIM Bank.
- Sound knowledge of ECA, local compliance, regulations for DFIs, EXIM Bank business model, products, and services is desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Age:
- 40 to 62 years

Additional Information

The appointment will be for a term of three years and is extendable per provisions of Section 15 of the Act and the Corporate Governance Regulatory Framework of the State Bank of Pakistan.
The selected candidate will be offered a remuneration package reflecting their skill and experience.
