The Ministry of Energy (Power Division) of the Government of Pakistan is seeking a qualified and experienced Procurement and Contract Specialist to join their team for the Electricity Distribution Efficiency Improvement Project (EDEIP) funded by the World Bank. This is a one-year contract position with a possibility of extension based on performance, offering a competitive market-based salary.

  • Term: One year, with the possibility of extension based on performance (until December 2027).
  • Salary: Market-based.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement activities for the EDEIP project.
  • Ensure compliance with World Bank procurement regulations.
  • Prepare contract documents and manage the contract lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan or an international institution.
  • A minimum of 16 years of relevant professional experience.
