is seeking a skilled and motivated Deputy Manager (Finance & Administration)/Accountant

The Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company (PMDFC) is seeking a skilled and motivated Deputy Manager (Finance & Administration)/Accountant to join their team. This position is part of the Punjab Cities Program (PCP), an initiative funded by the International Development Association (IDA) that aims to strengthen urban management and service delivery in Punjab’s cities.

Responsibilities:

You will play a pivotal role in managing the financial and administrative aspects of the PCP program.
This includes overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, preparing accurate financial statements, and ensuring adherence to financial regulations.
You will also be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to Municipal Committees on financial management and service delivery practices.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will possess an MBA, MPA, or an equivalent degree from a recognized university or institute.
A minimum of two years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field is required.
Prior experience in financial management, particularly within the public sector, will be highly regarded.
Proficiency in using computer applications is essential.
Membership in a reputable financial institution is a plus.

Eligibility:

Maximum age limit is 40 years, although this may be relaxed for exceptionally qualified candidates.
